Organic cross cut shanks from our pasture raised cows are the main ingredient for the classic Osso Buco dish. They have a marrow bone in the center and are surrounded by a rich, flavorful meat that falls apart when braised or cooked in a slow cooker. The marrow provides lots of nutrients and flavor when used to make a stew or soup. Approximately 1 lb per package.
